Katy Halford is a children's book illustrator living in Leicestershire. She studied Illustration at Loughborough University and went on to study teaching at Birmingham University.
She was an art teacher for many years until one day she had a light bulb moment and decided to focus on her true passion, children's book illustration. Shortly after this she signed with her agent in 2017 and since then has drawn lots of pictures for books (picture books, young fiction and non fiction).
She works from her studio office at home along side her chief assistant (*Secret super rabbit! Shhh...), very fluffy bunny rabbit, Esme.
